Dear Affiliate Member,
The Midwest Automotive Media Association invites you to be our guest at our 16th annual Spring Rally of new cars, trucks and utility vehicles.
- When: Tues.-Thurs., May 23-25
- Where: Road America/The Osthoff Resort, Elkhart Lake, Wis.
Affiliates are asked to make their own hotel reservations. For reservations call: 920-876-3366 and ask for the MAMA special rate. The MAMA room block at the Osthoff closes April 28, 2017. Please book early to ensure room availability. If you are joining us for the first time, please note that the Osthoff Resort is a suite property, which means you can have a roommate. Each guest in a suite will have his/her own bedroom and bathroom.
Welcome Dinner and Meals: You are invited to join us Tuesday evening at the Lake Street Cafe at 6:30 p.m. for our CATA/MAMA Manufacturer Welcome Dinner. Meals on Wednesday and Thursday will be held at the track or The Osthoff Resort.
Anyone who is driving or riding along on the track will be required to wear a helmet. If you do not have your own, please let us know what size you wear on the registration form. Not sure of your size? Use this link to access the helmet size conversion chart => http://bit.ly/2mBMsOv.
As a courtesy to our sponsors, we respectfully request that as you make travel arrangements, please schedule your return flights after 5 p.m. on Thursday if you are traveling out of O’Hare or Midway. If you are traveling out of the Milwaukee airport, it is safe to take a 4 p.m. or later flight.
For your reference, make sure you add a half hour to an hour to your drive times if you will be passing through Chicago during rush hour. In general, drive times from area airports to Elkhart Lake are as follows:
- Chicago O’Hare: 2.5 hours
- Chicago Midway: 3 hours
- Milwaukee General Mitchell: 1.5 hours
Reminder: This invite is for you, an affiliate member, and you only. Please do not bring along friends, significant others, children, non-member photographers, etc. All who attend must be paid-in-full media members in good standing. Any non-member, non-registered guests will be refused entry to the Road America grounds. If you have questions, please ask first.
If you are an OEM Affiliate member, please note that Andy Mikonis will be reaching out within 24 hours to our primary contact at your organization regarding vehicle registrations and team member attendance. If you do not hear from him by the end of the week or have questions about vehicle participation, please reach out to him at mikonis@sbcglobal.net.

We must receive your reservation no later than Friday, April 28.
During the first week of May, we will send a link to the waivers that must be filled out prior to the Rally (accomplished via digital signature). You will receive a confirmation email with maps and further details a week before the event.
